Hand carved from wind fallen black cherry sourced locally to the workshop. The fine curved upper surface has been hand sanded to a glass finish and polished. The underside retains the texture of the carving. A light, neat and delicate piece which seems to float. Somewhat inspired by Japanese woodcraft styles.
