Bone white tall pot from sycamore made with the “shrink pot” method. Following the crooked form, a branch is hollowed while the wood is fresh cut and green, and a dry wood base of linden is inserted. As the sycamore dries and contracts, the base is captured tightly in a groove. Polished to a very high sheen with detail carving around the neck. Finished only with wax to preserve the white wood without yellowing. One now available.
